I'm a holden man at heart but I can appreciate a good vehicle despite the badge it wears. My mates bf, with cat back, boosted, cooler, fuel pump and injectors made 350rwkw. It's not a 1000roller turbo. It will be on boost and frying tires 3-4 car lengths ahead of you before you can even snap 2nd.

I've learnt the hard way. I used to bag him about his little v6. He gave me the keys and now I want one.
Didnt know Fords had a V6....:rofl2:

Looks good - go for the VE.

As u said earlier it saves you a bit of coin and as someone else said it give time for the bugs to be fixed on the VF. Go the Maloo now and trade up to the VF series 2 in a couple of years.

Still 350rwkw out of a ls3 is still cheap and easy gmm head and cam gets you there

The ls3 wont. And it won't be cheap. 350rwkw out of a ls3 will cost u the better part of $5k easy

With no lag and you can't say that there is no lag in the xr6t coz I've been in plenty and a 350rwkw xr6t doesn't go as good as a 350rwkw ls3

5k and thats just for the heads haha having 351rkw its not too a bad but deff cheaper with the fg turbo, they spool quick and go hard as, deff cheaper then the v8 for $ for kw

But seriously every one I started this coz I want a holden v8 not a ford 6 I can guarantee I will never buy a ford especially not a turbo

2015 Subaru Forester, XR6 turbo ute.
Nice red 2008 Maloo at our local Holden dealer. Its a very nice looking ute, and I wouldnt mind it in my driveway. Only problem its a manual, and missus cant drive manual.
Plus, she doesnt want to part with the GTS.

ve series 2 ssv, better looking interior IMO, although the front of the vf is sexy... But get the series 2 and you will save some spare cash

If I go ve it's gonna be a maloo with the e1 front that's why I want a 09 not coz of money coz I like that front better but I a agree ve2 interior looks better

Lol they are on full boos by 2700RPM. They make more power earlier then a ls3 that will need a big stick, which will sacrifice down low.

Anyways was just a suggestion. Sorry to go off topic.

here it is man... there are no changes mechanically as of yet. ( meaning when the car actually launched) go with the maloo. unless you want all that high tech gadget stuff.

Yea idk that I like the LEDs on the front that's why I thing a E1 maloo over E2/3 and vf
