Ve my8.5

Quick question regarding the VE MY8.5! Does anyone know when the MY8.5 started production? Given that the MY09 started in Mar 08, I am curious when the 8.5 were produced. Cheers.

I dont have much info on the VE's -yet.

But the VE Holden production built year has been moved around abit to work in with the G8 cars going to the states. The MY9 cars comming out in March 08?? - when the standard time from was September - October for the build year change over. From what I was told it's that the cars going to the states have a cut off date on the compliance and after that date the cars wont be accepted. Hence moving the year changed over by upto 6 months.

Did Dr Bob post a code about this on the YM8.5? I'll go searching for that. See what I can dig up

Found out on the LS1 forum that the MY8.5 were produced from Sep 08. As we are now in November, I wonder if the MY9.5 are now being produced!
