If you're just getting the standard Bendix pads (generally Bendix General CT) along with standard DBA rotors (not drilled/slotted or a combination of both), then that price sounds very steep to me...

Bendix General CT pads for a VE V6 generally retail for around $80 a set and can even be purchased cheaper if you do your homework/know where to look

Standard DBA rotors are around $180ish for a pair, so approximately $360-400 for a set of 4 - Once again, no doubt could be obtained for less $$$ if know where to look

Combine the lot and you're looking around $560 in parts - Leaves approximately $260 left for labour

I'd get a 2nd quote if you're unsure
