2009 commodore VE omega sedan
Hey all, i recently bought a 2009 VE omega commodore and am interested in installing a rear spoiler on it, is it possible? if so how much would it cost to buy a spoiler and or paint it the right colour?

I bought a Senator style lip spoiler for a couple of hundred bucks from ebay then I had it sprayed (Phantom black) for about $350 if I remember correctly. it came with mounting bolts that did not line up with the standard spoiler holes so I just used Sikaflex on it. It's not going anywhere.

So maybe about $500 all up.

I bought a G8 spoiler for my VE when I ordered the car that took a month to arrive. I considered that the best one to purchase.
When the spoiler arrived I had it painted the Heron white and used Sikaflex to attach it to the boot lid in correct position.
NO WAY would I ever drill holes in a car just for a spoiler.

$100 for the spoiler(from eBay) +$150 for the paint job.

+1 for Senator style or g8.
Omegas with a SV6 SS spoiler dont look right without the rest of the body kit.

If you buy an official spoiler then you will probably need to drill in some holes. If you buy aftermarket style you just urethane it on or use something similar.

thats the early SS spoiler up to late 2007, 35mm taller than the ones that followed
Worked out pretty good tho, shields the glare from those bloody bright head lights.
Some of them so f'ing bright, they should be banned, specially in the metropolitan areas..
