Which one is it?
Car cranks which means the battery is turning the engine over
OR
Acts like battery dead - engine will not turn over

It can't be both in the same sentence as it does not make sense!
If the starter motor is going and the engine does not start once it is warmed up and turned off it could be quite a few things but crank position sensor or ecu would be near the top of my list to check.

but hasnt answered basic questions
when it doesnt start does it crank normally
have you put a multimeter on battery when attempting to crank

Answered the question dont need a multimeter when the battery is two weeks old but just to answer that one for you i did test the battery and its fine now il say it as simple as i can the car will start up fine then it could be a trip to the shop 10mins up the road or my wife will drive it to work 30mins away as soon as the car stops thats it doesnt turn over but wait long enough like 30 mins and the car will crank as normal

crank but not start and basically acts like the battery is dead but the battery is brand new

did test the battery and its fine
now lets start again
"fine" is not good enough for diagnostics
what is the static voltage in the morning
what does it drop to when cranking
what is the voltage when you get home before turning engine off
15 minutes later what is the static voltage
what does it drop to when cranking
the battery is the first piece in a long and complicated puzzle
new does not mean good
ve have a history of battery problems
if you dont want to try to diagnose that's fine, but let us know

Yep, get voltage issues out of the way and confirmed with figures.
