Globes are fine , fuses good but park lights not working . Is this because the head lights are always on ?

First check to see if there is volts at the socket,
and also a ground at the socket.
then remove the head light switch and check for voltage at the back of it.
and if its faulty, pick one up from the wreckers.

I'm going through this at the moment, no Parker's or rear taillights.
Headlights do work on auto/manual but then I have no taillights...
Been to 2 auto electricians & both said it there is no signal coming from the ECU.
Estimates for replacement ECU's with keys etc, have been $900-$1400.
Second auto electrician said he may be able to put a resistor modification on the headlight switch & or wiring to enable parkers to come on with the headlights at a cost of around $100-$200.
Hope this isn't the case with yours but it's been a real drama.
