yes! it wont rev over 4 grand if the brake is applied, even just slightly.

they do something like that ... it's related to the training time

they won't allow full power of the car, for safty of the car I guess

but in some cars it's the other way around, like in the Nissan Altima (3.5 , and 6 speed man.) before the first service, you can go 260 with it ( and 250 while in 5th gear ) but after the service it wouldn't go beyond 240 .

hmm, i wonder why they do that. I found out that the first service is more of a check as mentioned avobe but the major is at 15,000 maybe wait till then and see

he is an genuine guy, the previous car he had, he sold for a few grand below market value, it was kept spotlessly clean and was maintained but he was honest to the buyer about the way he thrashed it. Not everyone is out there to rip people off mate.

Clearly you did. The poor kid will be asking the question because he can't understand why a new car is making knocking noises, therefore he wasn't informed. If he was told it was thrashed then he would have the answer to why it is making knocking sounds.....

perhaps the kid got it cheap and knew it had been thrashed. He'll still be on here asking about it! doesn't mean hes been ripped off it means he's thick. Just hope it isn't one of our members who ends up in a position like that. Hard to understand much? geez!
