I think there is a possibility that there will be VE Commodore and a torana released, holden have too replace the vectra.. Why not sell the Torana along the commodore the same as they did with the Torana and Kingswood in the
    70's..

Wrong. The Torana concept was a mid size car, I saw it myself. It was a big mid size car but it was about the same size as a Vectra.

It's not the size of the Commodore, For starters it's wheelbase isn't Ve size, And the V6TT just and i mean just fit in the bonnet.
If you look around the INTERNET I'm sure it's size will come up.
I have just seen the Toyota Aurion and that is smaller then Falcon and Commodore. And it's bigger then the torana.

Torana concept was built on the GM Kappa platform which is significantly smaller than a Commodore.

Well almost in the end they used a bit of it but ended up making there own to build it. Which has made a new platform.

Those back lights look like the 380VRX/GT but alot worse then the 380. These 380 lights looks hot, unlike the base models which look appalling.

The front lights dont look that much different, but is an improvement. Otherwise not a bad looking car, just wish they changed it more, those front lights are starting to say "i couldn't decide if i wanted to be an astra or a commodore".

This commodore will split holden fans into two categories. It will create a new category of buyers who would naturally buy european cars (who will buy the berlina and calais) and will also attract the normal holden fans who will go for the SS. Personally I wish they would bring out a Calais Z or something which would combine SS power with Calais luxury, now that would be a nice bloody car.

I just hope they don't hike up the price on the VE as yes it will sell initially but they will drop off after when more people can afford them. If they play their cards wrong they could be stuffed and won't have GM to back them up (as GM are losing over $3.4million AU dollars a day). I just hope people adapt to the look of the VE as Holden really did a new platform and a new car. Hopefully this will put them ahead of Toyota, but the Aurion will make it hard unfortunately.

Well how much closer do you want it to be? It's just about a poor mans berlina now.
Climate leather etc it's all good. And a 6 speed to boot.

Qualities come a LONG way in contrast to what it used to be, for some reason I feel as if VZ executive seats would be more comfortable than VB SL/E seats

Agreed! I'm one of those people who'd settle with the SL cloth seats (hell I'd love some velour ones though).. point is, for what's being payed for these cars it's practicly a steal.. big V6/V8 engines, lounge style interior.. doesn't matter that it's missing some features from some other cars, it's a fantastic price for what's being had!

I think my mums old VB seats were more comfy then my VP seats:D, Softer but on a long drive you can get that feel of sinking into them and becoming heavy.
About 2 months ago i went for a spin in a VY Exec at a car yard nice rel nice they are:)

Amy bought the car for me because she thought that I'd like the way it sounded and looked, which of course i did, but the fact that it's an sl/e as well i thought was great, it's like an old school calais, all the luxury trimmings of the day, a v8 and it looks cool.

    but that's just my opinion

Well this is what it says when I try to login with my old account so your guess is as good as mine... I can keep creating new accounts. It's just a matter of who gets sick of it first, me or the moderators. I know I have all the time in the world! :D

Kind of pointless never lifting a ban. Just means I need a new account :D dick heads! lol
