Have had some questions to what "VIM" is.

So VIM stands for "Vehicle In Motion", so when VIM is enabled and the car is moving it will prevent video from displaying on screen.
Thus disabling VIM will remove this limitation.
This can be done on both Series1 LCD units and also Series2 IQ units.

Why would you want to disable the VIM warning?
Well its personal preference in most cases! Or hooking up additional screens for RSE (Rear seat entertainment) ect.
Or for Series1 reverse cameras (only on Version9 headunits), VIM must be disabled to prevent the warning from displaying while reversing!

Feel free to ask questions. Happy to answer all!

Hi there!

So there are two upgrades available for you:

1) Series1 colour screen kit. This unit is the Series1 SSV/HSV units which have a colour screen and directly replaces your existing unit without having to change any other trims in the car. These units do not have touchscreen or bluetooth streaming capability. This upgrade kit is $450. The top gauges will also need to be programmed to the dual gauge otherwise it will be blank with the colour screen upgrade.

2) Series2 touchscreen colour screen kit. This kit is the one you can see if you scroll a bit up with the large screen and circle vents. This kit allows bluetooth music streaming, and can also take navigation, reverse camera, DVD player ect. The base kit is $1250 which includes the Series2 headunit and all brand new trims required for the conversion. Also note that the top "red gauges" bar is completely removed as the series2 touchscreen displays all that information plus more!

Also, this plug is now redundant?
Making sure it’s not supposed to go anywhere now :)
