Why don’t the make the rear louvres for a ve commodore..? Call me old fashioned but I kinda like the look..

Wait, do you mean the venetians on the inside or the black plastic thing that mount outside over the screen?
I meant the Venetians.
I think I saw a set of those louvres on a VZ but not VE.

My Dad always had those on his cars. They were very effective in keeping the sun off rear seat passengers.

1991 VN Wagon..2012 VE Sportwagon.
I saw a set of Nasco Venetians on Ebay last year,to suit a HR IIRC,but big $,over $1000.

I also read on a Holden Forum a few years back where there were some State based Rego. issues with Venetians regarding blocking the rear window,someone on here may know more.

They were made by Aunger in SA.
Had them on my LH Torana, kept the sun off, but were an ill-fitting PITA that had to be removed to clean the back window.
They were held on by putting clips under the window sealing rubbers and it was not uncommon to see broken louvres on the side of the road.
Made obsolete by window tinting.
