Hi people, I am looking at importing some KMC 775 Rockstars from the states. I want 20x8 on the front +42, and 20x10 on the rear but only offset available for the 20x10 is +35. Just wondering if this offset will be ok on the back? Oh and the car is an Ignition orange 2009 SV6, likely to be lowered on either sssl or ssl, can't decide yet but most likely ssl with the 10s on the back.

Also the quote is $1476 AUD including shipping, which I think is pretty good?

Any help much appreciated!

Hey mate, there will be no problem with the fronts. The rears will need some work to fit, the wheel will sit just past flush with the out side of the guard. To get it to tuck you will need to roll the lip right over, and stretch the tyre on the rim. In saying that you can put a bit more camber in the rear but sacrifice wear.
I have seen a lot of the Rockstars fitted to VE so can be done, may be other offsets available.

Yea the rear guards were getting rolled anyway. I've seen two photos of rock star tens on the back of utes and thought there might of been of been other offsets, not from these guys though. Would it look strange if I just went with the 8s on the back too? Don't really want to have to sacrifice any bad tire wear just for the looks.

It will sit pretty much the same as standard with 8's on the back. Depends on if you want a nice flush fitment or not. It can be done, I have 10.5" on the rear, it pokes out and tucks the guard, with a 275 and only 1' degree of neg camber.

Will work, you may need to dremel the bumper tab (99% sure you will) or relocate the bumper bracket completely (likely)

This is 20 x 10 +35 on 275's G8 from the states.

Forgot to mention, I'd run a 265 tyre, not a big stretch at all and will free up a lot more space.

As much as I dislike those rockstar wheels (personal opinion) at least you are going with the rear "agressiver" fitment with a bit of concave. For the love of god don't go with the 8" all round look. Keep it staggered. Also ride height will play a real factor when getting that look, having a good fitment, but not having it quite low enough gives off a real goofy look. It's a catch 22 playing with wheels, got to pay to play :rofl2:

Thanks for the help mate. That G8 looks bad ass from the back. Yea ive read a bit on that bumper bracket. Going to order the rims this week and wait til they arrive and fitted up before worrying about the lowering. Ive got the picture in my head of what i want it sitting like, pretty much that G8.

The G8 looks nice, but IMO it should be a tad lower. Even if that means sacrificing a bit of the "flush fitment" look.

Just my 2c.

This is 9.5 x 20 with +56. +35 may rub especially with passengers. I would try different rims. Wheels that rub sucks. And if it rubs then you cant lower it as much.

My wagon has kings and the monroe shock package. Sits nice.

The G8 probably cant go any lower as it would rub like a bitch.

Know of any other similar matt black 20s? Really want at least 9.5 rears though.
