Ve roof lining removal

how easy is it to remove the lining of a ve ss ute? i wanna wire something above the rear view mirror and just feed the wires through the lining and back down the back of the cab and into the cig lighter. Anyone done this and if so was it easy

yeah i just realised i can get away with poking the wire into the lip about an inch in and creep it all the way around the door and windscreen panel down behind drivers seat and into the 12 v that way. mods should probably delete this now
