Now with a bit of a look I found the card slot behind facia for sat nav does that mean I just have to insert the card and I’m good to go ??

Depends if the IQ has the nav setup built in?

Shouldn't this be in the VE section? This area is for VF Commodores.

If recall correctly VE series 1 has a extremely clunky CD based setup for satnav. Was this changed for series 2?

Satnav became a lot more 'intergrated' when they ditched the Blaupunkt unit for the IQ.

Extremely unlikely it has Nav, the Omega didn’t even have this as an optional extra. If you look at the IQ unit on the opposite side to the SD slot there should be 2 plugs, a blue and a black one if your IQ unit has the Nav board fitted. What happens when you press the Nav button?
