Hi
I found this upper door trim part online. My existing is all scratched up from the last owner (probably a watch scratching it)
Question, Iv seen how to remove the whole VE door trim card however can you actually remove trim components line top plastic piece or maybe the arm rest? (see photo) of what Im looking to replace.
Cheers

Happy to be corrected but I don’t believe you can....

Pretty sure they are plastic welded on so one would be require to carefully cut the old one off and reweld the new one on

Not sure if you can replace it,
However, why would they sell it separate if you can not replace it
Maybe pull the door trim off and see how its attached I guess,
Then you can decide to go down that path,
on the other hand, check out the [other] wreckers in Melbourne,
There is abundance of VE's becoming available, as I have been to Jollys a few times and sourced small parts or my VE, ;)
Imlachs in Centre Road Clayton has a few now.

Yeah, thats the go. Company selling that upper door trim part said you will need an automotive upholsterer to fit it. Easier to get a second hand better whole door card trim. Going cheap on ebay these days. Iv also seen mobile vinyl and plastic restorer companies that can respray and plastic weld onsite for broken/damaged trim pieces also.
