VE Series II Speaker Upgrade - Help Needed.

Hey guys,

Currently looking into upgrading my speakers in my series II VE Ute.
I've taken out the centre speaker already as I've read a lot about it being terrible.
I'm wanting to improve the quality of the speakers a bit more as they seem really "tinny" when turned up loud and the bass sounds quiet bad.
Not wanting to spend an arm and a leg, just enough for it to be decent.

All opinions/help would be appreciated greaty, prices would be handy too.
