When the vehical is either stationary or moving every now and then the speedometer will move up and down by up to 15km/hr, sometimes will get the ABS warnings together with it. Is there anything i can do or do i have to go to the dealer?

    Turn down the bass?

Seriously, it's electronic, so it could be some sort of interference along the wire somewhere.

Yes, warranty, auto elec, audio tech or hours of head scratching.

Id have your computer looked at by a dealer, there is no real reason why your speedo should be fluctuating that much

Haven't seen that fault in any car before. Have seen a Liberty where the speedo didn't register speed for approx 5 seconds from stand still. So under hard acceleration, the first speed it would register was 80km/h +!

The problem was solved by replacing the dash cluster, but before it got to that stage speed sensors were replaced etc. To me, it sounds like your problem is being caused by a faulty speed sensor... I'm not expert, so could be well off the mark, but it's somewhere for the dealer to start, especially if the problem is intermittent.
