VE Sportwagon Key Remote Receiver (RFA) Location

Just wondering where the Key Remote Receiver is located in a 2012 S2 Calais Sportwagon,
I read in another thread, its under the rear parcel shelf carpet in a Sedan,
But I am unable to find any information for a Sportwagon.

Dear Members, I found the Key Remote Receiver, its located in the Head Lining just in front of the Tailgate, as you look towards the inside of the car, it just off to the left of the centre, clipped to the roof body, Just behind where the Tail Gate multi pin plug is, and Reversing Sounder in the head lining.
If you need to replace the Receiver, you will need to program Your Keys into the replacement unit, I am able to do this for a small fee, I am located in South East Melbourne Suburbs, [Bayside Area], and I will gladly do this to help the JC Members.

looks like my remote module is gone.. can anyone in melbourne assist on where i can get a new one for my VE SV6 and have it programmed.. both my remotes have new batterys and car starts fine. just when i try to unlock car using remote nothing happens.. thanks.

Sounds like the reciever has lost its programming,
The Keys will start the car normally,
were the Remote Control Unit [RFA] is via a seperate Menu.
Check the Plug/Connector of the unit in case its dislodged,
If you need a replacement, may I suggest you get one from a Wrecker,
Keeping in mind there are a few Different Part #'s for the same item.

If you need one, and being your in the South East Suburbs,
Jollys Wreckers Dandenong South would be the closest i am guessing.
I have been there a few times and have seen a fair few VE's there.

Does the RFA itself need programming to the car? Or just the key fobs to the RFA?

The Keys just need to be programmed to the RFA,

It does "not" need to be VIN matched

However, make sure you get one with the same Part Number [if possible, or that will suit your Model/Series].

I’m assuming I’d need a Calais/WM RFA from a VE? (My cars a 2012 ssvz)

or can TPMS be enabled on any RFA?

I would say they could of used the same parts # across the range.
As for TPS, again possibly, just need the valve stems to suit,
Haven’t worked on one that’s is active, so I am not going to say I know about them.

Guys any ideas where to find the RFA module for VE UTE? Tech 2 cannot communicate with the RFA so hoping the plug dislodge or something.
