    Howdy,
    Just a quick question...
I Have an 07 ve ss which just undertook a ..25% Underdrive Pulley kit upgrade, Orrsom OTR , and Mafless Re-tune.
The Car spun the rollers to make 256.2 kw , My Question is as follows:
The Engine temp as per the dial sits around the Quarter mark if not a little higher, even after a bit of a hiding..but thermo fans are cutting in
every time i come to a stop..even during normal driving (short trip (5km) ..
Is this likely to be a concern or the after effect of the re-tune ?

    Cheers ..Stefan

They may have lowered the temp at which the fans kick in.

Are they on all the time or just intermittently?

Go into diagnostic mode and bring up coolant temp and see what temp they are coming on at.

Cheers for the quick reply RiCeY..

Fan seems to only cut in when idiling..i beleive i may have heard it once whilst driving..

I left the Diagnostic mode running whilst driving..Coolant temp maintained a 91-93 degrees

Once i came to a stop.. thermo fan cut in..and temp made it's way to 99 Degrees ..@ 100 Degrees both thermo fans cut in or the speed of the fans increased,
    im not quiet sure..

    What do you think ?

Hi SSK-06L, Nothing to worry about.
Its a setting with the tune (Temperature when the thermo fans cut in).

This is quite normal with after market tunes. (Mine does this as well !)

As said above, it'll be the tune.
When I had my car tuned I thought something was wrong as the thermo fans were cutting in way more often than they use to, but changes were made to the fans when the tune was done so they would cut in early.
If it's annoying you, you can probably take it back to whoever tuned it and ask them to change it.
