Ve ss auto trans fluid topup

Hey guys have to check trans fluid... if i need to topup can this be done while trans is cold ?
Whats the process ?

30-40°C it needs to be at before you top it up.

Yes, what Fu said. There should be a sticker on the pan itself somewhere that tells you what temperature to check it at.
