VE SS Haltech?

So i have a 07 VE V6 commodore i'm going to be doing a conversion buying a wrecked VE SS with an L98 in the near future, Is there a possibility of running a Haltech on the motor only and keeping the standard ECU & BCM out of the SS for the transmission, central locking power windows etc?

Why? Support for the stock ECU is plentiful unlike the older Delco ECUs. Unless you're doing something funky that the stock ECU doesn't offer like dual staged injectors or whatever it's kinda pointless. To answer your question though, yes it is possible.
