Ve SS Oil level warning at idol

So my utes oil level warning has been coming on when the car is idling and low revs But only once it’s warm. I was told it was the sensor and just changed it but still have the same problem anyone had this issue before?

Oil level or oil pressure? What oil are you using and how many km on the car?

I'm guessing it's low oil pressure when the oil gets hot. I would try going from 5w30 to 10w40 and see if that helps. My E3 R8 used to have low oil pressure at idle once hot (gauge would read "1"), but recent work done on the car, plus replaced the oil pump to a high volume unit and started using Penrite Racing 10 (10w40) and the reading is now "3" when hot at idle. Much better result.

Thanks for the reply mate. I actually changed both sensors for good measure and run the recommended 5w30. Could it possibly be the oil pump?
