VE SS Series 1 Top LCD stereo screen not working.

Hi.

My top LCD screen for showing stereo information was not working, so I purchased
a secondhand screen off Ebay.

When I plugged the Ebay screen in it shows me Battery/Oil Gauges?

My original screen part number is Sport MFD 92197701, the screen I purchased from Ebay
has part number Sport MFD 92204816.

Would the different part number be why it is displaying the Battery/Oil gauges?
If I buy the same part number as my original screen will this fix the issue and show me the stereo options or is there a problem with the SIC module

I know this post is a few years old but i have the same problem i replaced Lcd screen with secondhand one with the same part number and its only showing battery voltage and oil pressure no clock or radio settings.
