Ve SS shaking

Hi all, my daughters 07 ve ss v8 has some problems. It is a 6ltr and 6 speed auto.
The engine shakes badly, like misfireing or timing out,
esp light is on,
Stability control is off and wont turn on
And the engine light is on.
She was told she had a bed coil so replaced all 8 coils then told it was a bad starter motor and it was replaced.
Nothing seems to work and she is depressed now. Please help so she can pick up her 2 kids. Thank you.

Any 1 bother to check the logged code/s??

You either need a code reader or pay a mechanic. You choose which one. Otherwise your just throwing parts at the car hoping something sticks, which is a waste of money.

You can buy a basic code reader for under 100 bucks (as per below) and it will give you your answer on what has gone wrong.

Since the coils have been replaced, it's probably plug, plug wire or injector related, but I'd not touch anything without proper diagnostics. Starter motor?

Checked the spark plugs and leads? As above I’ve never heard of anyone replacing the starter motor to fix a miss

OMG !?!

I know. A guy from a club said it would fix the problem so she did this. This is where I came in when I found out she was wasting money on **** advice.

will let you all know what the codes are when they are read. Im old school eg red motors etc.
