I‘ve already got a Bluetooth dongle but now I’m thinking of spending the money to get this one!

Won't get into the BCM on Mrs mums VW for the airbag light only pcm and tcm. But has worked on everything else and I've re calibrated Speedos and fuel gauges on commodores with it.

Glad to hear you got it fixed up. Threw a bit of money at it, but knowing that your daughter has new plugs, wires, battery. alternator and starter motor isn't a bad thing really, piece of mind for you knowing that the electrical system should be good to go for a bit for your daughter and your grandkids.

Yes. Just wish she had got the codes read at the begining and saved lots of money. Thanks again to all.

Cars this new you really need scanners unless it's blatantly obvious mechanical failure.

If a check light comes up on any of these it's first port of call. Won't always tell you exactly what's wrong but will tell you the issue. Check power train covers like 30 seperate issues.

Yes. Apparently no check engine light came on. At least she now knows to get codes read instead of just throwing money at what might be. Thanks to all.
