VE SS Wagon S2 MY12
Hi Guys,
It's been forever since I've been here but I just encountered a head scratcher on my MY12 VE SS Wagon.

I was out for a drive when my dash gave the red X "contact dealer" message. The air-con turned off, my temp gauge needle went to zero and I immediately stopped to check if I had lost coolant or a sensor.

Everything was in once piece so I plugged in my OBD2 and found that the ECM was able to read the temp perfectly and display it, so could engineering mode. The dash gauge was still reading zero however and giving me the red X. There wasn't a single fault code stored on the ECM while the issue was present.

I left the car overnight and now everything is working fine it seems. Has anyone else experienced this gremlin before?

Could be
Sensor going bad, loom/plug going bad, thermostat jammed open and not getting to 75deg in 20 odd min.
