VE SS (4-speed auto)
It's all well and good til you hit a camel.

it's not common as you think, but it does happen from time to time ...

f you find a post you think breaks site rules use the report post button which is located at the top of every post. At this stage i personally don't take issue to it. I wouldn't even know if he's breaking a Saudi law so i'll exercise my discretion and leave it.

thank you , and feel free to delete it, but I was really interested in how far can we push an SS , and I don't think I'm the only one who want to see that

back to the main subject,,,

do you think the SS is capable of doing 300+ with the stock components ?

No, I don't think so.

It's about as aerodynamic as one of those camels you hardly ever hit.

Disappointing they only hit 250, i had a speed trap of 254 in my VY, would of thought the VE's would be up for more. I would of loved more track to run off, but braking points come very quick at 250+ so wasnt going to push any further.

Well, it all depends what body it is in.

By all means, the engine has enough power and even the trans should hold up, but all comes back to what it's pushing in my opinion.

In a VE, no. In a Redbak Spyder, maybe....or a slick and light kit car or something.
