Hi all, its my first post so forgive me if this has been covered before. I am fitting a transmission cooler to my 2010 VE SSV as I do some towing. I plan to bypass the existing exchanger in the radiator. Does anyone know of any issues with the trans after fitting the cooler? any help would be appreciated.
cheers

So long as u replace any fluid lost you’ll be fine, might be a good excuse to drop the fluid and replace with some fresh stuff and a new filter

You shouldn't bypass the factory cooler. Remember, the copper/brass heat exchanger is in direct contact with your engine coolant which means it's MUCH more efficient at transferring heat than a heat exchanger exposed only to air. Best to run them in series to get any real benefit.
