Ve SSV Alternator Issues!

Hi, I have a VE SSV 08 sedan.
Having alternator issues!
Its displaying alternator light and battery light. Charge rate is only at 11 and drops down when being driven. Battery saver mode comes on and also service charging system.
I have replaced the alternator twice in 12months and also a new battery.
Can anyone help or have any ideas?

My 08 SSV ute is currently going through a similar thing. I've replaced the battery ($240 gel unit) but there's still an intermittent fault. There's 2 main issues that the alternator can have and both are non-repairable. Worn brushes or the internal alternator switch controlled by the ECU to start and stop the charging function. Cheap alternators are notorious for failing so if you bought cheap that might be the problem. Get a good auto electrician to perform the electronic diagnostics. Hopefully it's not an ECU. Like to hear the result.
