2009 VE SSV Sedan Manual
About 9 years ago I had a green VE SSV Manual with a badge on the left side of the number plate saying SSV in one badge. Fast forward to 3 weeks ago and I bought a blue VE SSV Manual. The one I have now has a V badge on the left side of the number plate with the red trail coming off of it and the right side just says SS? Keep in mind both cars were 2009 built and complied so I'm pretty confused about this.

AFAIK, the Red V signifies Redline.

Difference could be model year of the vehicles which can mean change of badges

Are you sure? I've seen them on utes but didn't realise they were Redlines. Pretty sure the VE ute I linked a couple of weeks ago has the red badge. May explain the high price.

Hmmmm, that makes that black VE more appealing, given he is asking a lot for a 2009. I assumed it just meant SSV and not Redline. Might have to look Redline up and see what is has over SSV.

According to RB yeah 2010 was first Redline, at least in ute anyway. Bummer I thought I was onto a good thing as was thinking of making an offer on an SSV ute.
