Hey everyone so i blew the diff up in my 07 ve ssv I bought a brand new one off eBay the add said 2.92 lsd so when it turned up the sticker on the diff says LSD: N so i rang the place i bought it from and they said that it an LSD i said i would check when I got home from work. So when i got home put the axles in the diff and turned the input shaft both axles spun the same way but if i turn 1 axle they rotate opposite but if i hang on to 1 axle and turn the input shaft the other axle turns is it LSD or not tia

Doesn't sound like an LSD.

No it's not an LSD. Wheels spinning in opposite directions is an open diff.

I have always been under the impression if you turn one wheel or axle the other one is supposed to turn the same way

Both wheels should spin the same way, it takes a fair bit of effort to make a clutch type LSD slip (so to speak) so the wheels can turn at different speeds.

If the label say N,it is a single spinner, unless it's been open and carrier been replaced..
Even then N should of been deleted.

Here 2.92 single ,getting replaced with 3.7 TT..Also sticker properly marked.

Correct, the "N" indicates that its NOT a LSD
If it was, it would indicate with a "Y".
Take a photo and send it to them, and then send it back to them.
