Been a while since I been on the forum. Here's my latest toy a 2010 SSV Special Edition.

Specs thus far;

Engine: L98 with a mafless tune, VCM OTR (336rwhp current)
Gearbox: 6 speed manual
Exhaust: Pacemaker 1 7/8 4>1s, high flow cats, x force twin 3"
Brakes: DBA slotted/drilled rotors front/rear (bendix pads)
wheels: std 19

The car is currently getting a cam upgrade (should pick it up either fri or sat). This will include the following:

comp 235/243@113 cam
push rods, lifters, springs
high volume oil pump
25% UDP (std pulley is buggered)
clutch / light weight flywheel.

Fingers crossed it should come up with 400 - 410 rwhp."

Looks great mate I absolutely love these cars with the pontiac front.

Is 250kw/336rwhp a bit too low for the mods you have? I'd ask around in the tuning section

Should get a bit more than 400hp at the wheels with a cam that big. It'll be interesting to hear what it drives like.

Cam specs look similar to the GM Motorsport TK cam. Huge top end power. Diff gears might be your next mod

For a tune and exhaust (manual) its low, but its just a tuning tool. all my lsx powered commodores have read lower then the average by 20 -30 hp. oh well lol.

it went well into the 400s, note the new dyno sheet below. Just over 100rwhp gain :)

Its quiet a beast on the street. not for the faint hearted but great fun to drive, really strong mid - top end.

Yeah mate looking at 3.9s, heads and a FAST manifold next year. got a few trips down at willowbank yet in the current combo.

Heres the result of the new mods :)

What's it like down low? Is it the TK cam from GMM or from someone else? I'm keen on a big cam similar to yours so I'm trying to gather as much info as I can lol

Also, what clutch did you go with. I have lots of questions cause I'm going for a similar setup

The cam is a comp grind (235/243 .621/.624 - 113 LSA) so slight difference in the lift and LSA. Its a bit rough down low, but above 2000rpm its fine. Clutch was a NPC single plate (NPC7713-3HD)
