Ve Sv6 2008
Hi guys I’m hoping someone can help me out with my ve sv6..
It starts pretty good when cold but once it’s warm I need to pump the gas to start it and once it does start it doesn’t give that initial higher rev it just goes straight to the lower rev which seems a bit too low.. sits at around 600 rpm and sounds like it’s slightly labouring.. it definitely labour’s while the ac is going and to restart it after using the ac it’s even more throttle pumping required..
a couple years ago I replaced the throttle body because the old one **** itself, it was full of build up and a clean didn’t fix it, and I think the problem started recently after that.. if not immediately..
any help or advice would be much appreciated

Is the throttle body, MAF air filter clean?
Intake pipe in good condition with no holes or cracks?

If you bring up engineering mode what's the throttle% reading at idle?

17.2% cold start
990 revs
Drops to around 630 revs and 9.8%

5-5.4-5.8 warm start
12.1 with ac

Performed a throttle relearn that I found on here and the car is actually managing to start without pumping the gas which is great but the idle still seems to low and sounds like it’s labouring

Does it drive and run smoothly once you get it started? Wondering if you have a dodgy coil making it idle like this.
I will check mine later what throttle position I've got though it's not the SV6.

It runs smoothly under acceleration but when you stop at lights and wherever else it just idles rough

Try checking if all your could are firing. It's a fairly simple process.
Check out some clips on YouTube, but all you need to do is unclip the lead off each coil while the engine is idling. If that coil is working you will notice the idle drop lower and engine start missing. Then clip the lead back on and try the next one.
Don't let it run too long with each lead off.
You could also have a dud injector.
