I know this is an old thread, but I'm reading it because I'd like to straighten my wheel a bit, it points to the right by about 1 spline when driving straight ahead. Can it be moved, or is it on a master spline? If that's the case, I guess the only other way to do it would be to get a toe adjustment....

There is a master spline, so wheel alignment required.

Thanks for a great write up. Even all these years later I refered to your guide and changed my sterrist wheel.

I found it hard to use a screwdriver because there isn't a lot of room to get leverage. I made my own lever from some scrap metal. Here is a pic of the Holden tool.
