Firstly, does anyone know if the spline is the same?

Looking pretty closely at them, it certainly looks like it is.

I guess the next thing would be getting the clock springs and wiring for wheel controls to work. I'd be happy if the steering wheel controls did work, but not sad if they didn't.

The other thing of course would be the airbag. From my somewhat limited research at the moment, I would think it may just require some modifying plugs.

Anyone here tried it?

Sorry for off-topic... haven't seen a cluster like that before with the round auxiliary (if that's what you call them) LCDs. Is that a HSV thing?

But I gotta admit, the mod sounded worse in my head. Looking good!

Looks like the cluster out of either a WK/WL Statesman or Caprice.

Hey, my steering wheel is starting to wear and I quite like the look of the ve ones, is there tricky bits or is it a pretty straight forward swap?

I know this is a year after the last post but the guy that posted pics above messaged me back. He said that it was not easy and definitely not for the faint hearted. He said no plugs at all were the same so all had to be rewired.
