Some people can be so stupid. The dealership would have all their details wouldn't they? Surely they'd made you show your drivers licence before you're allowed to drive it....

My thoughts exactly - fake licence maybe?

Still, what are you going to do with a new stolen car. Maybe export it? Still, pretty dumb (I guess stealing any car is)

They'll probably take it up the pine forrest and burn it, like so many other cars. As far as getting caught the 12 month good behaviour bond they'll get for this just doesn't seem to deter them.

Probably Stolen ID..... or Fake.....

Why would you steal it? Because they did, and they don't really care, they wil probably use it to committ many more offences and use it as a get away car.

People don't just steal cars to chop them....

im assuming a fake licence and some sort of altered photo (head shaved or wig or something, people do anything), it wouldn't be hard to get away with it.. as for the car... who knows.....

I've never shown my licence before taking a test drive.... maybe having wife and kid with me make me look trustworthy! Plus I have always left my own car at the dealers when I do!

From what I see, they'd take the motor & gearbox.... Seats... & dump/burn the car.

Cheers
