Best case, maybe a blown fuse.
Worse case, it could be the SW Can bus is shorted, or a plug on the BCM maybe disconnected. (Single Wire CAN not getting the powered up message from the BCM) ???

Its very difficult to say what the problem may be unless you connect a scan code reader, or something up to the thing to try and get more information ?

I would be checking every single one of them at this stage...
Because of the nature of the problem, its going to be very hard to determine what is wrong without a scantool,

Hence the reason why I am thinking check every fuse. (Cheapest and quickest option to try and get things working again).
(There are going to be obvious ones that you will not need to check, but to be honest if you check 99.9% of them, it will probably be that 0.1% that you didnt check that may be causing a problem)....

If the HU was disconnected the DIC would be fine, if the GMLAN was shorted you would get a "contact dealer" message.
