ve sv6 engine stopped

the ve sv6 ute just stopped when I changed it into first gear it was like it stalled, but it wouldnt click over aftewards and wouldnt start when trying a hill start it, wondering what could be the problem as the car also ran out of oil a week before it stopped working.

When you say "wouldn't start when trying a hil start", describe what happens,
does it roll and just not fire up
or does it come to a very quick stop when you release the clutch?

Hmmm ...............that's a hard one to diagnose from the description of events.
Could be any number of reasons ........electrical, mechanical, manufacturing fault, or lack of maintenance,

It rolls fine when the clutch is in but when you drop it to the back wheels lock up

Sorry to hear that, just a matter of interest, what were you doing while the engine frying the oil?
No gauge/dash light?

Very likely you've seized the motor after letting it run out of oil.
As said above, it's now a boat anchor
