Ve sv6 not moving

    Hi guys today I jumped in my Ve put it in first gear and didn't move there was no noises I don't know what to do, it's manual any help is appreciated thanks

    Release the hand brake, press the accelerator, release the clutch.

    lol well you provided 0 information on what actually happened, did it turn over?...have you checked all your oil levels/coolant levels/petrol level, did someone steal your engine while you were asleep?, we can't just know from "it aint movin" exactly what's wrong with it, if we could there would be alot of un-needed mechanics in the world.

    Sorry mate, well it's starts normal runs fine until its in gear all oils are fine plenty of fuel in it

    Maybe you had the shifter in the gate for first but the gears hadn't actually meshed properly, and when you let the clutch out, the car didn't move?

    Needs moar info.

    Will it move in any of the gears? Reverse, Second etc???


    Does it attempt to move and then slip??

    It makes a grinding noise in 5th and 6th I had a mate thy works at Holden look at it he said it could be the flywheel, also when the clutch was replaced they machines the flywheel and apparently the dual mass isn't supposed to be machined

    it's an SV6, sometimes you have to push them to make them go!!

    yeah i would go with mech.. you should have purchased new flywheel,, better save up the dollars $$$ not cheap. could now cost you to remove and replace box again so probable cost more now than if you didnt skimp of it in first place
