Sensible thinking dictates it isn't worth it to go darker than legal (hypocrite here) - not sure I'd do it again though.

utes are commercial vehicles so u can get the back and qtr windows as dark as you want. I have 5% on the back and qtr windows and 16% on the door windows. dont know if this differs to different states.
i'd say the 16% is dark enough at night any darker and you have trouble seeing. from the outside at a glance it looks legal. A copper would need a light sensor to actually prove its illegal.
