VE ute tail gate liner replacement

Hey guys,

I need to replace the plastic liner on the tail gate of my ute as it is unrepairable and I was wondering it it would be an easy trip to a scrapyard or would I need to replace the entire tail gate?

Liner is easy to get off.

6 Torx head screws. 2 scrivets on each side. Pop Off the inner handle. Then you'll need to support the tailgate from underneath in the open position and take off the two bigger torx bolts on the side (that hold the stay straps on)

If you dont support the tailgate it will fall all the way down and either hit your towball, or bend in the rear bar. Then lift off the old liner and put the new one on. Refit in reverse.

TBH, pro link, if we were serious, we would find a liner with more stubbie holders in it. I must admit, mine only has 4 and I never open my tailgate while mates are hanging around.
