Have done a search on this subject and it all is a bit confusing as it seems there are so many different scenarios.

My mates 07 VE is dripping clear water from under the dash when the air con is on. We have cleaned out the plenum, although there was hardly enough gunk to create a blockage, and that material was dry however we noted two other issues while in there, 1. the rubber drain was not sitting in the drain hole and 2. the square filter in front of the fan intake was sopping wet.
When the air con is running water is coming from the drain hose beneath the car near the transmission.
Can we discount the heater core, as that water would not be clear, and coolant level in the coolant bottlle is not decreasing.

Any clues would be appreciated

Pull off the centre console side trim on the passenger side, stick your head under the dash and look up above the trans tunnel (may have to pull carpet back. You'll see a rubber grommet where the a/c pipe goes into the drain. If that rubber grommet isnt sitting properly it will leak onto/under the carpet. To set it properly cover it in silicone lube and spin it till it seats itself.

It's normal

every car using the air con will cause condensation and that's the outlet for it
