VE SS Wagon
Hey everyone,

New here so please be kind. I'm posting this on behalf of my mate, the owner of the cars.

I have a 2010 VE SS Wagon and also a 2012 VE SV6 Sedan. Both are complete, registered, running cars. The wagon has had extensive engine work as well as coilovers fitted, KPM fuel system and other goodies.

The wagon has been defected and won't be returning to the road, so our plan is to swap anything and everything we can into the sedan.

My question is: has anyone got a detailed list of what I need to take out of the wagon to put into the sedan to make it a complete running V8?

Photo of the wagon attached.

You will require to use the sedan loom,
ECU
BCM
Dash
Radio
Key head
RFA

As a number of devices require to be VIN matched.

And possibly will need to be programmed to a Sedan variant.
That part could be expensive, and hard to find in your neck of the woods.

Would it not be cheaper to fix the SS Wagon ?

As a SS Wagon would be worth more as Original, than a SV6.

It’s a lot of work.

Sounds like you are trying to make a SV6 sleeper.

Thanks dude, that's what I wanted it hear. Have someone local who can do do the reprogramming.

Those saying it would be easier to fix the wagon: yeah it would be. But there's a bit of sensitive personal history with the car and the owners can't stand the sight of it anymore. Won't go into detail but it's a damn shame.

Other option,
Sell it,
And buy a donor car,
There is a few on market place that would possibly do.
