VE - VF fuel cap

Hi guys, just curious are the VE and VF fuel caps interchangeable.The one on my VF is buggered and a mate has a spare VE one.

Grab your mates cap, take yours off and compare them side to side... you’ll quickly find out if VE can is the same and will fit

Probably get a quicker resolution doing the above than creating a thread...

Just looking at photos on the net and they have the hook clearly.
Friend's 2008 Omega doesn't have it on his though. Perhaps something wrong with his. But thanks for correcting me.
