VE/VF Sv6 or Integra Type R

So im looking for a P plate legal car, and im stuck between the two, Now should i go with BRUTE Power and Torque, or Swift VTEC and Light weight. Im looking at Ve and Vf sv6's or DC5 and DC2 Type R's. (Including MODS for both) So once modified what would be the best pic?

Not a lot of things you can do with an SV6 (wouldn't really say brute power and torque either in a car that weighs 1700kg).

8k is the budget, im just looking for something thats will turn heads, and keep up with most cars, end result would be showish type car, and nice power output.

I reckon the type R is so 10 years ago so I wouldn't bother with one. But that's just me, I don't like small rice burners.
SV6s are not race cars but a whole lot more practical than the rice burner.

If you're on your P's, just buy a car that doesn't attract the 'wrong attention'...
