It would be helpful if you mention at least which engine your car has .

From the avatar, it'll be a 3.6L LLT, but yes more information required. What colour smoke, black, blue, white? when/why did it start, any event before hand, ie loss of coolant, oil etc, or has this just started for no apparent reason?

And how many kilometers has it done?
Has it been regularly and PROPERLY serviced with correct fluids etc. etc.
How long have you had it....From new?

If it's not firing (as opposed to misfiring) I would be looking to make sure the coils on these cylinders have power (ie 12 Volts). I would be looking for something common (perhaps a electrical connector not fully home, etc).

Aren’t those injectors and coils earthed together on side of cylinder head? Another earth point on the opposite cylinder head? I could easily be wrong on that.

I’m sure someone will know for sure.

LLT always serviced it had oil water etc never had a problem with it . Didn’t overheat . Smoke possibly smells like burnt oil . Oil light came on car shuttered then shut off then check engine light and safety mode kicked in .

Always serviced 220k klms on it had it for 6 years .
