I am converting my 2009 omega wagon entirely to a 2012 s2 SV6 wagon.
Most of the swap has been straight forward, but I'm about to do the rear suspension from hub to hub as one assembly.

Problem is the donor 2012 wagon had a light hit and the control arms are all bent or broken on one side.
Hub and axle are fine, but everything else linking the hub to the cradle needs to be replaced.

It's my first time working on a Commodore and I don't have the knowledge yet, are these arm partsnsame between VE sedan and wagon, what about S1 vs S2, I note the S2 has aluminium upper arms at least.
What about a VF, same boat sedan/wagon compatibility.

Cheers!

Springs and shocks are different wagon to sedan. Some arms changed during the life of the VE. My take on it is if they look the same they're probably the same. You need to compare side by side.

Sedan/wagon/ute arms are all the same only difference is early vehicles had adjustable style toe arms then changed to a solid arm with eccentric bolt. Then towards the end the upper arm had a change

Thanks. I forgot to mention the strut is also fine somehow!
Yeh looks like I may take measurements of the good side when I go to the wreckers to make sure it's good.

Thanks! I suspected this may be the case but first time working on it, especially to this level.

Should probably make a few tutorials as I changed everything as assemblies.
- Front subframe with engine, auto and radiator
- Rear subframe, probably very common
- Dash as entire assembly, 2 plastics to remove on each side and 2 near the windscreen, bring 2 friends!

Cheers!
