VE wheel nuts, will they fit a VX

The VE wheel nuts are 14X1.5 does anyone know what the VX are.

VE use thicker studs, def wont fit.

One would just wonder why they would change them, I'll have to get 20 of the VX with the mushroom heads then, I'm fillting 16 x 7'' VE steelies with whitewalls to our oldschool VX.

May have an issue with the VE steelies as they have a smaller mounting hole than pre VE.

With the alloys you simply machine the lip off to suit earlier models, the steelies may prove to be a lot more difficult than this.

Already machined out the lip and tig welded on a new lip, hubby tells me this isnt the way it was done instead he had new front bearing hubs machined and only about a mm was removed.
Also the centre holes in the VE rims are not a perfect circle shape and the hub would have gone through on 2 side but not the other 2 sides.
When he returned from work in 2 weeks I'll get a picture of the machining, they currently don't have the internet on site.
