Hi..I saw an add on ebay advertising some mags wheels that will fit both a VE and a BMW 528i...
Can anyone tell me the specifics of the VE wheel sizes..and if they are the same as anything else (apart from the afore metioned BM)

Thanks

Scott

i know some of the basics...
ALL Commodores Stud Pattern: 5/120. 5 Studs, 120mm gap between stud and oppposite flat plane
VE Commodore Stud Size: 14mm (for memory)

I do know anything before the VE had 12mm studs, so VE wheels are not recommended unless they are machined to fit.
BMW and Holden are the only two afaik to have the 5/120 stud pattern. Falcons, Camrys, Magnas and Mercs had 5/114.3, and smaller cars with 5 studs like PT cruiser, VW golf etc. have 5/100.

So short answer, BMW and Holden wheels are interchangable as far as stud pattern, but im not sure about stud thickness. should confirm that before buying a set bud ;)

Hope this helps

The dia of the centre hub is also slightly smaller on the VE compared to earlier Commodores.

The centre hole on the BMW is larger than the early Commodore size too
