    2006 VE COMMODORE
    Hi All,

I have just purchased these rims off ebay for my 2006 VE commodore:

eBay Australia: Buy new & used fashion, electronics & home d

I just wanted to make sure they would fit before I actually pay the guy, he reckons they would fit because they have the same 5x120 stud pattern.

Would anyone recommend any tyre sizes to suit that wont chuck out my cluster speed? Ive been told 245/35/20 for the front and 275/30/20 for the rear. Can anyone confirm?

    Cheers Andy

thats the fitment im running on my car for the rear and front, if urs is lowered, you will definately need to roll ur guards and you cant run 275s if your tyres go under the guard too much.

If the rims have the correct offset for a VE, he will be able to slam it on 275s

Thanks to all those who replied! I'm planning to slam it with adjustable coilovers as well so hopefully I can adjust them so it clear's the rear struts.

Sure they will fit but you will not be able to put them on your car until you get a set of the correct size centre bore locating rings (hub rings) that might not be supplied with the wheels. So you should also check this with the seller (not mentioned in his advert) otherwise you will need to chase up a set of the correct size hub rings.

The bore size on the wheels is 73.1 mm and the VE has a centre hub of 66.9 (some say 66.7 but I have never measured). In any event the wheels need to be located on the hub so they are perfectly hub centric otherwise you will get nasty vibrations when driving from wheels that are bolted onto the car off centre and undue stress will be placed on the wheel studs. The hub rings (of the correct size) will be required to ensure a proper fit of the wheel to the VE hub.
