Hate to tell some of you's e but the facts have prove that a police car is more reliable and has less engine ware than a car that get driven on a daily bases . Reason for that is most engine wear happens when the engine are cold so the daily driver's car is always cold and warms up cools down you get the picture. Where as police's car are like taxi's they never turn off once your shift's ends the next person gets into the car thrashing a car won't do hardly any harm 5% to a engine unless its a cold engine. 90% of engine wear is done in the first 20 min of the motor warming up so all you people who jump in your car and flog the guts out of it think again. Coz it aint gonna last that why taxi go to 700,000 1,200,000 ks dont see a daily reaching themks they blow round 400,000 depends how there treated

Hmm, you obviously haven't watched HWP drivers I can recall during my employment with the Police Force, trying to stump-jump in SS's when chasing car thieves across paddocks, or kerb bashing when rounding corners too fast during chases, or driving over speed humps at warp speed and cracking sumps, or dumping the car into drive when still rolling backwards, or belting the back wheels against a kerb so hard the diff is bent, then leaving it for the next shift without telling anyone......

There's a bit more to looking after a car than just keeping the motor warm.

Hi all. Just got my first Commodore last week. Was never a big fan of Commodores in the past but definately am now.
Anyway, ended up with an ex cop VE Omega. Has all those extra things as mentioned before, but with a whopping big dual battery in the boot! Dunno what I'll use it for though...
Paid $16,000 with 72,000Km's - seemed fair. Great nik, but a little worried about the unknown thrashing that may or may not have happened in its previous life. Saw a cop car driven through a stream last year (had to be done). Needless to say it sounded different on the other side!

i doubt you can get anyone on slander against an anonymous internet username

Correct me if I'm wrong fellas, but I thought the point of this thread was to post images of cars?

4 pages later and not a single image? Hmm...

Not really, you don't have to post images you can just talk about your car if you want to.
